There once was a Trainer
With a young Eevee of brown
In Eterna Forest
Battling on the fertile ground
“Eevee, use Bite!” The Trainer said
The Eevee obeyed, nodding its head
With unknown strength, the Eevee was flung
Throughout the trees a CRACK had rung
The Trainer held his companion with tears in his eyes
He had loved his Eevee, ignoring its size
He watched as his Eevee ceased its glance
Its heart finally stopping its frantic dance
The Trainer ran with pain in his heart
Mourning his companion he’d had from the start
Several years later, the Trainer traveled anew
With an Eevee of silver that had eyes of blue
Dreading the same fate would befall his new friend,
The Trainer went outside Snowpoint City where the ice had no end
Slipping and sliding the duo did go
When a Snover appeared, Icy Wind it did know
It became angry, having been awoken in the night
It blasted its move, causing a fright
With a growl, the Eevee leapt to defend its master
Which just made the Snover’s anger rise faster
In a flick an Icy Wind was unleashed
The Eevee of silver had been blown to a boulder
Its fur stood stiff and shone
The Snover’s Icy Wind, unknowingly, had bound it to the stone
Painful memories surfaced for the poor Trainer
For the silver Eevee had not been older, but had been younger
Far away, in a shaded forest
Near a rock covered in green
The Eevee of brown became covered in a screen
Ears were stretched and thinned
Its fur grew short and colored like sand
It stood up on its shaky legs, begging for its Trainer’s hand
In the very same place where the cold winds blow
Away from life the silver Eevee did go
But the ice around cracked
By sudden sobs the Eevee’s body was wracked
Its life was robbed and yet returned
Was there something it had learned
Its legs grew long, its tail grew thin
An icy cold sprouted within
It’s heart turned clear
It twitched its ear
To hear its lost master’s call
